I'm Neil, a 19 year-old game designer.

I started making games when I was 10, I first found an app called Game Maker 7.0 on the internet. I started making awful looking games with that until Game Maker 8.0 came out. From then on I became more and more dedicated to making games as time went on. At the age of 15, I moved on to Game Maker: Studio, a new engine that helps me produce way more functional games. I've been consistent with my progress, and am constantly improving on my skills. I hope to finish my projects very soon.

Most of my library is trial and error, but I have a list of notable games:

- Gummybro and the Perilous Plot of the Sours (2013)

- Explosive 8-Bit Dance Party (2014)

- SpectroSword (2015)

- Tower of Blackliffe (2017)

- Schloss Von Blackliffe (2017-18)

- The Drunkard's Tale (2018, Current)

I've been making games for 8 years, and plan to move on to a career in the industry. I'm fully positive with whatever I get out of my journey with game design, whether I get a career in the industry, take off on the Indie side of things, or just stay where I am as a hobby. Every day is a new day for moving forward, and everything that comes is okay. One thing is for sure, I'll keep making games!

GummyBro(2013)

Gummybro and the Perilous Plot of the Sours is a platformer game that I made in 2013. It had a very simple, straightforward play style, similar to Mario games. Enemies roam around each level, and the player (Gummybro) is to take out each enemy to open a door to the next level. The boss fights were very simple as well. This game was very fun to make, and it really helped me improve on my coding.

Explosive 8-Bit Dance Party (2014)

Explosive 8-Bit Dance Party was a joke. I didn't develop it to sell or anything, it wasn't a serious project. This year I was focusing on cleaning up my coding, and trying new things out. This was just a small, fun project.

SpectroSword(2015)

SpectroSword! I was really into this one, I made lots of music, and learned a ton of new ways to make platformers. I never finished this game, though.

Tower of Blackliffe (2017)

Tower of Blackliffe was a platform RPG I was working on in 2017.

Schloss Von Blackliffe (2018-18)

Schloss Von Blackliffe is the facelift to Tower of Blackliffe, yet to be finished. I plan on finishing it soon, seriously! The boss fights I programmed for this one are actually fun.

The Drunkard's Tale (2018, Current)

I love RPG's. The Drunkard's Tale is a new project of mine, I started this so I can learn how to make a story based game. I'll be making devlog videos for this one.
